Cyclex-VR utilises stunning 3D computer generated backgrounds, projected onto a large screen, with full-motion animations taking the rider through a virtual landscape of urban areas and countryside. What makes this program really unique is the full instruction provided on-screen by a top UK studio cycling instructor, superimposed onto the background.
Just like regular classes the rider is guided through a variety of riding positions and tempos which follow the virtual terrain all accompanied by a pumping soundtrack. An 'instruction free' program is also provided for instructors to use in their regular studio cycling classes, to act as a motivating back drop.
This exciting new development allows club owners to maximise the use of their studio cycles, with virtual classes running up to every hour. This can be used to complement regular studio cycling classes outside class times or as a stand alone program in gym areas.
